Heat is an important concept in Physics. People have been trying to explain the nature of heat throughout the history of mankind. A quantitative study of thermal phenomena requires a careful definition of such important terms as heat, temperature and internal energy. In this unit, we shall discuss various concepts related to heat, temperature, measurements of temperature and various thermal phenomena.
After studying this unit, the students will be able to:
